Automobile Liability Insurance for Hospice Volunteers, Staff
Hospices have volunteers and staff that use their own vehicles or perhaps the organization’s owned or lease vehicles to go from home to home to visit and care for patients and help families with attending to their loved ones. As a result, there is a high risk of auto accidents.
Care Providers Insurance Services provides automobile liability insurance coverage for hospice organizations to protect themselves in the event of an accident. We have coverage for hospices and home healthcare agencies that own or lease autos. We also provide hired and non-owned auto coverage to cover the staff’s use of personally owned vehicles to conduct work-related business. Non-owned auto coverage will provide coverage for the hospice after the employee or volunteer’s primary policy is exhausted.
In addition, we can provide excess liability insurance, which expands the limits under an auto policy in the event of a catastrophic accident that involves serious injuries or fatalities. We also offer several risk management tools to help hospices promote driver safety to assist in accident prevention.
- Limits up to $1MM
- Uninsured Motorists Coverage up to $1MM
- Symbol 1, Any Auto – available
- Social Service Enhancement Endorsement available
- Physical Damage:
- Comprehensive – $500 Deductibles
- Collision – $500 Deductibles
- Hired and Non-Owned
